Automatic Discovery

Add Your Company Logo

We automatically discover logos from your website. Add a simple meta tag and your logo will appear when anyone requests your domain.

How Logo Discovery Works

We check multiple sources to find the best logo for your domain, in this priority order:

  1. 1

    og:logo meta tag

The official way to specify your logo. We prioritize this above all else.

  2. 2

    og:image meta tag

Falls back to Open Graph image if no logo is specified.

  3. 3

    Apple Touch Icon

High-resolution icon often used for mobile bookmarks.

  4. 4

    Favicon

Last resort — often too small for quality display.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1Prepare Your Logo

For best results, your logo should meet these specifications:

  • Format: PNG or SVG preferred (we convert to WebP automatically)
  • Size: At least 400×400 pixels (larger is better)
  • Background: Transparent if possible
  • Aspect ratio: Square or horizontal works best
Step 2Host Your Logo

Upload your logo to a publicly accessible URL:

  • Place in your website's public directory (e.g., /public/logo.png)
  • Ensure it's accessible without authentication
  • Use a stable URL that won't change (avoid versioned filenames)
Step 3Add the Meta Tag

Add this meta tag to your website's <head>:

<meta property="og:logo" content="https://yourcompany.com/logo.png">

Technical Details

The og:logo Standard

The og:logo meta tag is an extension of the Open Graph protocol. While not part of the original spec, it's widely recognized for specifying company logos specifically (as opposed to og:image which is for page previews).
